I made one of my rare trips out to look at auction furniture yesterday and saw a machine cut dovetail worth noting. I usually avoid furniture with machine cut dovetails. Machine cut dovetails are largely an early 20th century invention and my interest is in earlier furniture.
These dovetailed drawers are different and the first I recall seeing. It is the vertical, sliding dovetail.
